1975 Peterbilt – The Bounty Hunter 

Over the past 16 years, I have built 5 semi pickups. The Bounty Hunter was number 4. The truck was purchased at an online auction selling surplus oil field trucks and equipment. The truck, a 1975 Peterbilt was purchased for $3000. The sole purpose in buying this truck was to make a 4-door semi pickup. I also purchased a 1987 Peterbilt truck at a bank auction for parts. The conversion process began with pulling the cab, engine, transmission and cutting off the heavy spring rear ends. The 14- speed transmission was traded for a newer rebuilt 9 speed. The 1693 Cat engine was shipped to a friend in Australia.
