The B Model – Mack

Hello! I am the B Model -Mack! 

My remodel started as most remodels go. They pulled my 673 Mack engine with a rebuilt and installing a turbo my owner had. They added a 5 and 2 speed transmission, an air ride Mack rear end and a suspension.The next step they took a Ford truck bed, cut it in half and narrowed it by 7 inches and added 15inches to my length. To match the bed, my cab was made 3 inches deeper on the bottom. A set of custom running boards were molded on to the front fender and custom fitted them with a back flair and custom tailgate.

Soon they we picking paint colors. Once I was painted and buffed out, Darrell Allen came by t give me the finishing look that included Pat’s logo and pin stripes. He also added pin stripes to my interior.

After being completed, I was ready to take the journey back home to Florence, KY and truck shows with Pat Kelly.

My story doesn’t end here, I started as a dump truck for Pat Kelly but soon I was given a new life when I was sent to Ed Crock and his boys.
